there should be a difference between a soft spring + stiff shock vs stiff spring + soft shock. On the initial cornering the feeling might be the same, but once in the corner and the car has settled it should be the spring that transfers the weight not the shock? Stiffer springs should plant the weight more evenly giving greater traction = higher cornering speeds... in terms of spring rate Tein RA > Tein HA > Eibach As for shock adjustment, I had my shocks set at 100% soft, at stiffer settings the car is twitchier and less forgiving, I found it difficult for me to handle at my skill level. Other than the spring/shock combo, the main advantage of a adjustable height coilover is that the car can be corner weighted... though admittedly 99.9% of the people with adj coilovers never corner weighted the car, me included (plan to do that someday though).
